MMO's and YOU!

MMO's and You! What is an MMO? An MMO is a massive multi-player Online game. In general, MMO's are expensive in the long run but hold a large amount of "entertainmental" value if it is to your liking. In the beginning, MMO's were nothing like any game for any system; they were major investments of time and wealth. A word of warning to any parent who wants to get their child a long lasting game or to any gamer who is looking for something to occupy their time. Never invest into any MMO's unless you really like it and you have limitless time to spend on it. For if an individual gets sucked into a MMO, chances are that they will choose it above most of any other games in their off time.I'm not saying that MMO's are bad, I am just trying to say that an MMO is not just a game,it is a key into another world. This world is one where others are seeking adventure, testing their mettle against one another, and going forth to conquer their worlds greatest challenges and enemies. I am also a MMO player and have experienced these ups and downs to this genre, so I only speak from experience.

MMO's originate from the fantasy setting and, in the past, have always used a similar template of goblins, orcs, elfs, etc. Although, as time progressed, so did the MMO genre; evolving into a multitude of different genres. Anywhere from light sabers to super strength, MMO's have been showing their growth and diversity through time. With MMO's constant evolution to meet the wants of the public will ensure that MMO's will never leave... So I recommend getting familiar with them or avoiding them completely; just remember, there is something out there for every gamer. Personally, I play WoW a lot but I really love DC Universe Online, also I like to play every MMO if I can.
