Mythidus, much time has passed since The Steele Catastrophe and the emperor has grown calm. Saath, finally coming to his senses after a couple years, realizes his mistake. He sent his greatest of scientists to analyze the advancements in genetic alteration that Steele made so long ago. Saaths interest in the
Saath demanded the research to be rushed so that it could be tested, this lead to a 98.996% corruption rate of the DNA and a 87.63% fatality rate. Any and all failures of the tests were immediately executed; their corpses were discarded to the fire pits. The Emperor grew impatient with each failure until finally, an officer of the mythian army, volunteered for the experiments. He was a young man, among the strongest in his class and the greatest tactician to graduate from the academy...ever. Saath felt a little down that such a good pawn wanted to throw his life away but he figured that there would be no higher levels of progress unless he used the strongest contender. Saath only hoped that he didn’t end up like the other six “so-called” successful projects, being bed-ridden for unknown periods of time, slipping in and out of consciousness.
Months had passed and the class seven project was finally completed. Emperor Saath was very proud of the young officer for surviving and surpassing all expectations. He made one grave mistake though, instead of allowing the class seven project to be tested slowly, Saath ordered his power to be tested against his newly manufactured ships. Saath was very proud of these ships as they had finally been enabled with long distance space flight (production had been started on a planetary scale, ordering each sector to make the best innovation to the weapon systems and combining all of the best ones). On the day of the presentation Emperor Saath invited all of the plants transmitting drones in order to spread the new of his greatest advancement; the creation of the new elite soldier. As the test proceeded as planned Saath looked on with envy for power in his eyes. The light that beamed from the officer was blinding, illuminating the entire northern sky in a orange hue.
What proceeded caught everyone off guard, the officer himself started to glow, many didn’t understand started to in panic and hysteria. As Saaths shouted to shut down the project a roar that shattered the skies erupted from the officers position; the officer had shot down the entire fleet and made a visible hole in their atmospheric zones. The audience cried in horror as the monitors showed the officers scorched body, the energy shining brightly around him, showing all of his wounds. Emperor Saath demanded that all the monitoring drones be disabled and that the lead scientist address him of what went wrong tomorrow. Saath retreated to his throne room, humiliated, he commanded soldiers to enter his doors and proceeded to execute them with a gun until he regained his senses, the executions continued all night until bodies blocked the tremendous doorway.
The next day Saath attended the medical facilities, he wanted to see the officers condition as well as the lead scientist. Just seeing the old man who considered himself a scientist made him sick to his stomach. His rage grew more and more until his silence broke and he grabbed the old scientist by the throat; gasping for air he mentioned the name Steele, this sent Saath into a fury. He crushed the scientists throat and continued back to his throne, Saath sat on his throne in contemplation of sending his armies westward on Mythidus, slaughtering every single living thing until they returned from the other side of the plant, directly to his throne. Time passed and Saath just decided to remain quiet after his past failure. It had been much time since his last appearance outside his throne room; Saath decided to return to his activities outside.
Before he could even set a foot off his throne Saath heard panic, gunfire, and the sound of artillery just outside his walls. The doors buckled and then exploded into the keep, the officer calmly walked up to him and made demands. He wanted Lord Steele and he wanted him as soon as possible. As soon as Saath heard this, he suppressed his anger with gleefully diabolical thoughts; he thought of all the great things he could do with Steeles intellect under his control. Before Saath answered the young super mythian, he considered a safeguard against any possible failures, he remembered the newest bio-suits that were in development and figured that one of those creatures would do wonders for his purpose. Saath allowed the exhibition only if the officer followed his conditions. Also, with his sickening sense of ego, Saath took the officers name away and replaced it with a rank and number; he wanted people to know that it was his seventh project that had conquered Steele and that he would rule the universe.
Time had passed since that day; so much that Saath grew tired of waiting for the new commander. He ordered the scientists of his new private core to develop a machine that could take the essence of others mythians and break it down into a serum that could be injected. It was at that time which the Era of Blood began; this was the darkest period of time in all of mythian history. It was darker than any war and far more horrifying than any other death. Emperor Saath ordered every single soldier to take in any and all healthy mythains that met exceptional standards, even if it were their own wife and child. This led to many uprising across the planet simultaneously, all of which were put down. Most of his armies only proceeded with the orders to avoid being turned into serum themselves; this also kept the attention away from their families.
After 3 years of constant slaughter and rebellion, the total deaths from fighting resulted in hundreds of thousands while those sacrificed for Saaths ambition numbered into the hundreds of millions! Finally, the essence serum, dubbed Lost Generation, was complete; it was ready to be tested on the finest of mythian warriors but Saath refused. He wanted the serum just for him and refused to give anyone else this grand power, so he injected it into himself. His veins burned with rushing blood and his chest tightened and expanded, filled with power. He felts the most extraordinary power course through his very anatomy; his body instantly healed all of his old wounds, leaving scars from centuries of abuse. He looked down at his scientists and realized he even grew a few feet; the scientists panicked and pleaded Saath to settle down so they could observe if there were any possible problems. Out of Saaths extensive superiority complex he roared and told them that gods do not take orders. He punched one of the scientists hard, sending him through the building and down the block; as he was about to punch another scientist Saath roared and an explosion of energy soared from his fist, destroying the entire structure.
Saath emerged from the wreckage without a scratch, he laughed manically as he realized his power. He tried to fly off but soon realized…he lost his ability to fly! He started to get infuriated with the scientists flaws and his vision blurred to darkness, Saath had no target to focus and temporarily lost his sight. He panicked, running and leaping southward, Saath knew he was heading for his throne; he just needed some time to relax and think about what had happened. Before long, Saath had crashed directly through the wall of his throne room and crawled the rest of the way to his throne. As he sat down and calmed his heart rate his vision slowly returned. Saath realized that there was no time for waiting anymore; he needed to assemble his armies and join the commander in the retrieval of Lord Steele. Saath figured that he would destroy the commander himself if he started any trouble.
As Saath stepped from his throne he crashed to his knees and hands; Saath realized he didn’t feel the power pumping as hard as it used to in his system, he refused to give up his new powers to a lesser level. Saath ordered his elite guard to retrieve the serum from his private facility immediately; afterwards he proceeded to inject 25 grams of “Lost Generation” slowly into his system until his armada was ready. He felt his blood flow fast continuously; Saath never felt calm anymore, the serum and its side-effects never allowed him such a feeling. It made him stronger and stronger but required constant maintenance and attention, for if the serum is not injected constantly every week, he would feel the painful, crippling withdrawal that would sap him of his powers.
Emperor Saath abilities include: Super-Strength (unmatched at his biological max), Super Leg Strength allows him to jump any distance (from planet to planet, max is solar system to solar system), Raging focus (tremendous anger brings focus that sees through everything, leaving his entire world in darkness with only his target in his sights, if no target then blinded until heart rate lowers), Energy blasts (equivalent to solar flare power level, super-charges atoms to create friction in the air), L.G. Dependency (Lost Generation Dependency requires 25 grams every human month, must take 25g to maintain 100% power, can take more to reach biological max of 1000% power, weakened at 50% power, withdrawal pain at 10% power.)
