COMMANDER SEVEN (MAKIET)

CHARACTER PROFILE: COMMANDER SEVEN (MAKIET)
While in the middle of Lord Steele's travels across the void of dark space, the Mythian Empire were exploiting and trying to improve on his latest advancement, genetic alteration. They spent much time refining the process and testing it out on common soldiers, most of which never lived to see the end of the tests. Then, it was Makiet's turn (Ma-kee-et). He was a young but brilliant military officer that prided himself on his constant wins in strategic warfare with the neighboring sectors. He grew tired of waiting for his new army to command, so with no thought of possible consequences, he made himself the next test subject. Regardless of the countless thousands that had died, Makiet was confident that his will, determination, and strength would be more than enough.

The experiments went on for an entire decade until he was finished. Makiet had experienced so much pain and had been pushed to his breaking point  repeatedly that he had become nearly unable to feel pain. In fact, his entire personality changed, from a confident commander to a cold-heartless murderer. When the time came to test his powers the Emperor was not satisfied with just shooting targets; he ordered Makiet to use his powers against a Class 3 Armada. At the time, the people thought that the Emperor was purposely trying to destroy their new creation but Makiet simply agreed. When the day came, Makiet felt no fear, panic, or even doubt; all that he felt was the blood coursing through his veins, pumping harder and the surge of his new found abilities ready to explode. He stepped out onto the colossal platform and met hundreds of dreadnoughts. As Makiet charged his powers, with a loud roar he felt something inside of him shatter; he felt the power grow within him and not dispersing. He let out a fierce roar of anger, pain, and anguish as he expelled the power out of his arms and face. The massive explosion devastated the entire fleet, killing thousands of soldiers and leaving Armageddon in the atmosphere. As Makiet looked in awe of the aftermath it occurred to him that something was not right; he felt a surge of pain rip through his body and mind as he looked down. He had completely burned the flesh on his arms and scorched his face, resulting in a crescent burn over his eye; after he observed the damage to his body he black out from the pain.

As Makiet awoke from his sleep a surge of sadness washed over him in a way that he hadn't felt since before he started the experiments. He found himself in the presence of the Emperor himself while the surgeons all around him tried to isolate the damage.   There was shouting and screaming all around him, he couldn't understand half of what the scientists were saying in the background. But he heard one phrase in particular that will haunt him for the rest of time, "Lord Steele's fault!".  Makiet said only one word before he passed out, "Steele...".

Ten human years had passed before Makiet regained consciousness, he awoke to his rejuvenation chamber being deactivated. As he proceeded out of the building, many soldiers tried to stop him, their weapons were useless and their strength was nothing to him. Makiet refused to let go and move on.  He went directly to the Emperor's throne and demanded to know where Steele had gone. The Emperor slyly agreed under the condition that Makiet would wear a new suit developed just for people like him; an organic DNA-infused armor that is self-aware, it would fuse directly into the DNA of the wearer. Although, if the wearer was not strong enough then the armor would take over completely. Makiet accepted the offer without so much as a second thought.  The process was painful and nearly killed him on full sync. Finally, Saath reminded Makiet that his name is no longer his own and that he shall be known as Commander Seven; this is because out of the thousands that had been experimented on and died. There was only a 1 in a 1000 chance that an individual would survive.  He had survived during the 7000's experiments. Makiet thought this to be the same as murder but he suppressed his new found hatred for the Emperor.  He requested a small armada of 100 troops and the fastest ship they had ever made. Saath agreed and gave one last order to the new commander, to bring back Lord Steele.........ALIVE.

As Makiet left with his small venturing party he thought of the orders that were given to him and quickly discarded them from his mind,  His main goal was to get Lord Steele to fix him.  If he refused his offer, he would just kill him. As Makiet finished this thought he felt an invasion prying into his mind, burrowing deeper.  He realised that the suit didn't just help him with his powers but it also doubled as a living computer that kept an eye on him for the empire. As the suit heard this it simply told him that the Empire is not the enemy and that Steele did this to him. Makiet felt this to be true, but he knew that sooner or later that he would have to separate himself from this thing so he could be free.

Commander Seven (Makiet)

Makiet's abilities include: Super strength (half that of Lord Steele, still can stand his ground and on occasions, even surpass him), Flight (equal to Lord Steele), Very high durability (slightly less than the base level of Lord Steele's), The ability to channel heat/solar energy from every part of his body into a major attack, the more body he uses the stronger the blast (far superior to most of Lord Steele's ranged abilities, somewhat stronger than his explosive vision. A DNA-altered suit that fused itself to his anatomy and now gives him awareness on all sides, in every direction. Suit also is like a command collar from the Mythrian Empire, monitoring his activities and occasionally forcing his hand.

Side note: Commander Seven's abilities come from the technology that Lord Steele first started but the other scientists messed up, this is why the scientists blame Steele for his advancements and shows Makiet's goals.
