Deep inside the bowels of time, where life just started to blossom in Novos (our realm), lies the dark realm of Karsus (Realm of Life and Death). Karsus is an existence where the living fight for control of their world in constant civil war. All that die are sent to the vortex pits, dark swirling spiritual barriers that hold the dead inside. Only the powerful are able to escape and fight once more.
This land was created and ruled by a mighty god, his might was so great that every punch he made would create a mountain, every kick created a canyon, and every thunderous roar sunk miles of land into blackened waters. He ruled the land millenniums ago with an iron fist until one day his greatest assassin betrayed him. It is unknown why the assassin did it but after the god's blood was spilt the entire world exploded into non-stop war. That assassin, the master of water & darkness manipulation, was Gou-Jujin. Gou was the son to the head master of the Kenaki tribe, a line of ninjas that have always served the former ruler. Gou's reasons to slaying the fearsome god are his own but some say it was to serve his new master.
When the civil war broke out utter chaos engulfed the lands like a raging fire. One man in particular rose above most of any other, and his name was Tsu Lao otherwise known as the Librarian Sorcerer. The Librarian did not spend his time strengthening his followers; he decided it would be best to provide a greater level of intellectual structure for every warrior and sorcerer, friend and foe alike. Although, as the Librarian planted the seeds of knowledge into the masses he grew in power as they increased their intellect and power. As the Librarian grew in strength the world started a level of de-evolution, weapons technology started to retreat back into steel swords and iron staffs. For since the power of the individuals grew so did the magical presence in the realm. Armed with magic imbued weapons and strengthened anatomies, the inhabitants of Karsus adopted a code of war and honor.
With the forming of championed duels and rising demigods came the substantial power to the Librarian. He finally gained enough power to create the tournament of the Iron God, a succession process that would choose the realm's newest god, granting the individual ultimate power above all others. The Librarian chose Gou-Jujin to be his guard and champion in the tournament. So the tournament was held, brutal battles between mortals and demigods raged for five years as the blood poured. As the numbers dwindled among the millions only two were left. Gou was but one of them. The other was a fair man, chosen among his elders to bring the world to eternal peace...their dream never came to fruition. Gou fought the man with great ferocity, his hand cause more damage to the other champion than a barrage of bullets.
The young man, battered and bruised, fell to his knees and submitted. Gou once saw an equal before him but as the man's bloodied figure dropped all he saw was a worthless piece of tenderized meat. Gou took out his katana and beheaded the kneeling man in one swoop, the head flew from the body and, with sickening thuds, dropped down each step of the pillared arena. The crowd was shocked at the act of savagery towards a defeated opponent as Gou turned to face the Librarian. He knelt before him and bowed his head slightly before falling into his shadow on the ground and disappearing before every ones eyes. The palace grew silent as the blood seeped from the dishonored fool's neck, encompassing the entire arena.
Tsu Lao rose from his chair and spoke with a commanding presence, "By the rules of the Iron God I hereby claim the power of Karsus and all who live in it!" With this proclamation he levitated higher and higher until the titanic red sun shrouded his appearance into shadow. Tsu Lao flew high into the dark-orange skies until he faced the diamond throne that the Iron God once owned. As he sat the Librarian was greeted to the sudden sight of Gou sitting on the arm of the throne beside him, tending to his sword and giving a reassuring glance to Tsu Lao. Once Lao closed his eyes he began taking in the massive power of the Iron God and half the strength of all other inhabitants of Karsus. He opened his eyes and spoke his first command for his world, "It shall rain blood...for eternity."

Tsu Lao has massive power over the dead and the dark, granting him the most powerful dark magics in his existence (and almost any other). He has command over trillions of living, dead, and undead warriors, effectively making him the most devastating force on any global scale ever.
After gaining the powers of the Iron God Tsu Lao seeks to keep order by any and all costs in his realm (or the next).
Gou-Jujin: Ninja, Assassin, Clan Leader (Currently), Iron God Tournament Champion, Sorcerer.
Gou has masterful abilities over water and darkness, giving him the most lethal combination of assassination and quick death attacks. It is rumored that Gou is the shadow to Tsu Lao, doing his bidding and enacting his will on any other.
