Character Profile: Agent South (Rupert Maize)

Fort Meninbrook, Texas, It was a dark night at the fort but an even darker one at the labs. It seems that a new weapon has escaped the militarise security; the only thing left by the weapon was a trail of blood and bodies, no one was ever sure of the capabilities of this first-ever batch of new soldiers. It was clear that the majority of the group didn't live beyond one week after ejecting from their pods while others simply liquefied due to a loose genetic structure. Inconveniently, Agent South was in-charge of cleaning up the operation and ensuring the return of government property.

Agent South, a 2nd generation super soldier designed for combat, stealth, assassination, negotiation, hostage rescue, and an assortment of other things. He was never in a pod but was taken in after birth and "programmed" with the knowledge to kill in a million ways, military strategy, psychological analyzing, use of all known technologies, etc. South is a man of a military lineage; his entire family has served in the military at one time or another. Although, Agent South always had a different view on everything; he always considered himself to be an Anti-Patriot, always analyzing what is corrupting the nation and the blind ignorant loyalty of it's followers. It all made him sick, knowing that this was what he had to defend and what he had to live by.

As South arrived on the scene he saw the General being taken away on a strecher, rolling towards the medical wing. The General shouted as he choked on his own blood, "South- where the hell were you!? How did this all happe- *cough*" the blood spat from his mouth. Agent South simply ignored the fatally-wounded General as he proceeded through the broken doorway. He was very impressed that the new weapon was able to reach the end of the lab, to pass through all the guards and security networking of neutralizing weapons. As he made his way to the laboratory South saw the laceration wounds of the dead soldiers and scientists, he observed the wounds with a doctor-like concentration, practically disecting the corpse with his eyes. He moved on, turned left and found the main entrance for the underground weapons facility. It was a very open area, the walls streched high up into a blacked out ceiling with small lights beaming down, lighting the paths.

As South walked along the blood-stained path he encountered thousands of open pods, a scientist walked up to him at attention. "Show me to it's pod." proclaimed South, the scientist drew back and immediately moved onward as South followed. They walked hundreds of yards forward and then climbed to the 27th row, it was over 80 feet high on the wall. South couldn't help but think that the abundancy of the new weapons guarenteed a high failure rate; his analyzing abilities wouldn't allow him to just rest his mind, South couldn't help but look at anything and figure it out. The scientist, shaken and covered in his aquantinces blood, pointed to the pod; as South kneeled down and saw the labeling of pod he asked for the file of the escapee. The scientist gave it him, his hand shaking with fright and shock. Agent South took only a second to look at each page, utilizing his photographic memory, and handing the file back to the scientist. He then looked back at the pod, seeing the tracking system still active he took the device and attached it to his belt.

Agent South stood up and said, "I need to see the General, now." He reached the medical tent above ground and asked for the general, the nurse told him that they took him to the forge-ward. As South walked in he saw the General on the table, it seemed the General was no longer just a man but a cyberneticly-enhanced humanoid creature. He was awake and figiting with his new parts; the General spoke to South in a dark, sinister tone, "I want you to track that...THING down and TEAR IT APART!!!" Agent South said nothing, turned on his heel and walked out. Agent South boarded a helicopter and started to head towards the signal, he kept thinking on the best way to obtain the target but always had the feeling that he would never be able to escape this life. Souths main goal was to just live a peaceful life, one without government intervention or dictation; all he ever wanted was to go back to his wife Cynthia and hold her tight. But he figured that it couldn't be that way unless he did something about it. "I will see you soon Cynthia, even if it means tearing down the entire country to get to you."

Agent South's Abilities Include: Enhanced Biology (20x more than a normal human), Grandure Gland(Generates energy whenever energy is used), Skeleton Durability (can stop small-arms fire and withstand up to 100,000 lbs. per square inch), Enhanced General/military Abilities (includes expert in psychology, master marksman, master tactician, knows how to use all weapons and technology that is known to human kind, photographic memory, and hundreds of other utility traits), Enhanced Reflexes (allows him to react to high-speed actions and potentially change his motions during fatal actions), Anti-Patriot (This makes his actions unpredictable, his hate for the government makes him want to tear down all the corruption and "clense" the entire system of anyone he deems guilty. This is a key trait that helps unravel his story; also, his wife hasn't seen him in four years but she knows he is still alive and is waiting for him. The Government will push him too far by forcing him to kill his wife to get to Sastra, this makes Agent South drop off the grid and disappear into the backalleys and shadows of the corrupted citys and dirty streets; turning him into a type of anarchist.)
